Any personnel who:
  • enter a limited access area without the necessary permission;
  • fail to wear the prescribed protective clothing or use safety equipment;
  • do not adhere to instructions on how to use protective clothing and safety equipment;
  • do not adhere to access limiting notices, signs or instructions;
  • cause deliberate or reckless damage or who abuse any item provided for safety purposes; and
  • threatens the health and safety of any person due to reckless and deliberate conduct, will be found guilty of a transgression.

REPORTING OF ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES
All accidents or injuries, however insignificant, must be reported to the manager concerned and the person responsible for the Human Resources function without delay.

Please make use of the JD Implemente trained first aiders to treat slight injuries.

Should the injured person require medical assistance, such person should immediately report to the first aiders or HR-personnel to complete the injury on duty forms and to obtain a claim number for the injury suffered.

Should the injury not be suffered on the JD Implemente premises (on a farm during working hours), the accident also has to be reported as soon as possible.

JD Implemente will not be responsible for the costs of private doctors. Any injury on duty must be dealt with by the casualty division of the hospital.

Claim forms with a copy of your ID-document must be taken to the hospital.

Follow-up examinations are important, in order for the claim to be finalised.

Thank you for your support to make JD Implemente a safer work environment.
